*VDEX- a new, unique *Asterisk-based telephone system*
**
*PRODUCT DESCRIPTION*
Vdex is the first Asterisk Appliance to maximise voice quality by
implementing separate microprocessors dedicated to the separate processing
of voice and data, Vdex's architecture - built from the ground up to be a
PBX - also includes as standard, additional digital signal processing for
the compression of voice and cancellation of echo.

Vdex is the only embedded Asterisk appliance to come standard with sixteen
G.711, G.723.1, G.726 and G.729a/b voice CODECs (mix of sixteen concurrent
CODECs). Vdex-40 also includes 4 FXO ports as standard, conferencing
(including transcoding between different CODECs), conference recording,
voice mail forwarding to e-mail and many other features.

Recognising ease of use, control and management of Asterisk to be a key
issue for users and resellers, TechnoCo have incorporated a special
hardened, optimised and embedded version of the Druid browser-based user
interface into Vdex. Vdex's graphical user interface does not diminish from
its power and flexibility as Vdex also enables advanced users to create
Asterisk dialplans, nested IVR's and complex configurations as required.

Vdex-40 is a fully embedded platform using flash memory to replace spinning
hard disk drives, and with no noisy fan the potential for mechanical failure
is further minimised.

If you wish to discuss Vdex opportunities with us please use the Contact Us
section of our web site.

Thank you,
