[AsteriskBrasil] format_mp3.so and calls problem

Olá eu instalei o Ubuntu 6.06 e o asterisk com o comando apt-get
install asterisk.
Depois instalei o FreePbx mas quando reiniciava o asterisk na linha de
comandos acontecia o seguinte erro:
root em hernandezz-laptop:/home/hernandezz# asterisk -rvvvvvvvvvv
Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does
/var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)
Eu pesquisei nos logs e reparei que o problema era o modulo
format_mp3.so não é carregado pois não existe, então no fx
modules.conf comentei a linha load => format_mp3.so e agora funciona.
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/format_mp3.so not exists

Isto parece resolvido mas eu necessiot deste modulo?????
Não sei se derivado disto ou não, mas não consigo estabelecer chamadas
entre 2 extensoes.
