De acordo com a documentação:<br>

Váriaveis iniciados por "_" serão herdadas dos canais onde foram
criadas . Quando uma varivel herdada é recebida o prefixo "_" será
removido da variavel. Se você utilizar "__" (dois underlines) no
canal, então a variavel será herdada mantendo o prefixo "__" no
novo canal.<br>

Faça alguns testes e nos diga se isso funciona ( nunca usei desta
forma )<br>
