What the  rep meant  was if you  live in Houston, Tx and Dallas, Tx is set to  receive Villagers then I could purchase them because the inventory would  come  out of that store  from the same  state.  However I couldn't purchase  the same amiibo  if it  were available in another state.   I  thought it was strange too, but  there isn't  one grand TRU warehouse like you might think.  There are multiple  scattered  across the US that cater to different states or cities  within that  specific district depending on how large it is.
