caro, você vai ter que mudar também o grupo.


chmod: XXX ( primeiro X = dono, segundo X = usuarios, terceiro X = o resto

onde XXX pode ser 1,2,3 ou a soma
1 - execução; 2 - escrita ; 4 - leitura

Por exemplo: chmod 755 /   ia dar acesso completo ao dono e ao resto
apenas leitura e execução.
